At Journey, it’s our calling to support our community through our Mt. Zion Community Food Bank once per month.
We’re here to provide food and other essential items at no cost to individuals and families who need a helping hand.
Our Location
We are located at 296 Tanner Beach Rd., Carrollton, GA 30117. At this time, we’re focused on serving the Mt. Zion, GA community.
If you live outside our area and need assistance, we’re still here to help! Reach out to our Director, Rick Hutchens, for help connecting with a food bank near you.

Our Goal
Our goal is to ease the burden of food insecurities and bring comfort to those facing hunger. But our mission doesn’t stop there—we’re here to nourish not only the body but also the soul.
Through our community food bank, we’re blessed with the opportunity to share the hope and love found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to help sort, pack, and distribute essential food items to families in need. Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or get involved regularly, your time helps nourish our neighbors and strengthen our community.

​How to Apply for Assistance
1. Fill out and submit our Application Form.

2. Once your application is approved, we’ll reach out to schedule your pick-up date and time.​ Our food bank is open by appointment only, every third Saturday of the month from 11:00am-3:00pm (unless otherwise specified). Your specific time may vary, but don’t worry—we’ll let you know in advance!

3. On your scheduled day, visit us at 296 Tanner Beach Rd., Carrollton, GA 30117 to pick up your items. We look forward to serving you!
